We are a group of individuals and organizations that believe that true social assistance reform can happen in Nova Scotia. This reform must be based on adequacy and human rights and can only come from true collaboration with the community. 

Our Goal

Social assistance rates in Nova Scotia need to be raised NOW.

We need a social assistance system based on human rights and collaboration.

We want the Department of Community Services to adopt our Community Agenda for Social Assistance Adequacy and Reform for Phase 3 of their ESIA transformation process.
